Lovina is located in the north part of Bali. Its approximately 2,5-3 hours drive from the airport. You will have to pass the mountain area to get there. The area is well-known for its black sand beach. The town is very small as it’s concentrated around two small roads. Lovina offers fantastic sunsets, dolphin watching, great trekking area to the mountain, Buddhist temple and the popular Hot Springs.
Permuteran is 1 hours drive to the west of Lovina. The area is well-known for the good snorkeling and diving area, but also for nice scenery in the nature. It does not have a “centre”, so it’s concentrated at the hotels. Out of Taman Sari hotel you will be able to snorkel on a “build up” coral reef as a part of an Eco-tourism project for rebuilding coral reef as an effect of previous dynamite fishing. 20 minutes drive from Permuteran you will be able to sail to the little island of Menjangan that is good for snorkeling, diving and for some light trekking.
Welcome to Lovina & Permuteran.
